Two Premieres, One Lyricist: Dilanjan Seneviratne Writes Punchi Ruchiranani and Hithuwakkaraya

On 18 September 2026, two songs with lyrics by Dilanjan Seneviratne premiered on the same day: Yohani's "Punchi Ruchiranani", the first single from her third album Sadde, and Sana's "Hithuwakkaraya", from her debut album I'm 18.

Both songs share a production team. Shenal Maddumage composed, produced and mixed them, and Misjah mastered them at 24Mastering.

Highlights include:

Punchi Ruchiranani: premiered with an official visualiser directed, edited and colour-graded by Heli Gimhana and produced by Outright Media House, Outright Play's content arm. The visualiser sets the look of the Sadde album.

Hithuwakkaraya: premiered with an official music video directed by Nawin Kutti and shot at Havelock City Mall in Colombo.

The two releases carried his words to two Outright Play artists on the same day: Yohani, the artist he has worked with since her first cover in 2016, and Sana, one of the company's emerging artists.

In October 2026, MINISO Sri Lanka named Sana its Brand Ambassador, in partnership with Abans PLC. A week after the premieres, Yohani took songs from Sadde and her two earlier albums to the Ziro Festival of Music in India.
